Mary Ward

Mary Ward is the Bristol County Coordinator for the MV Mediator Center’s expansion into Bristol County, Massachusetts. She is originally from Pennsylvania and has lived in Boston for the past 26 years.  Mary has a BA in Human Resources Management with a Minor in Sociology, received a Masters in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania in 1996 and maintains a LICSW license in Massachusetts. Transitioning from a 28 year career as a Social Work Supervisor in the Child Welfare field, Mary joined the staff at MVMC in the Fall of 2024.

Pursuing a long term dream to be a mediator, in 2022 Mary discovered MV Mediation and enrolled in the basic training.  Very quickly this experience solidified her interest and commitment to continuing the mediation journey toward a new career path. She is qualified in the mediation areas of: Divorce and Custody; Housing and Small Claims; Workplace Conflict; and Community & Group Facilitation.

Mary enjoys gardening, listening to music, and walking in all types of weather; as well as volunteering on the boards of her condo association and neighborhood community garden.
